CRP-RCEP Trainings
The CRP-RCEP at the University of Missouri-Columbia offers a continuum of career development opportunities, from entry-level to supervisory to advanced management, beginning with the Employment Services Certificate Program, continuing to Community and Employer Development Certificate Program, and finally to the Rehabilitation Management Certificate Program. In addition, CRP-RCEP 7 occasionally offers Special Topics trainings, on subjects that are relevant and useful to CRP staff but do not fit in the three formal curriculums. All courses have been approved for the ACRE Employment Training and Education Core and Professional Certification process.
Employment Services
This program is for direct service personnel and newly hired middle managers who support individuals in career planning and obtaining employment. Courses include:
- Orientation to Employment Services self-study
- Employment Services
- Advanced Employment Services Simulation.
- Workplace Supports
Community and Employer Development
This program focuses on job and career development, marketing, and creating successful partnerships with the business community. Courses include:
- Marketing and Job Development
- Business Partnership Strategies
- Customized Employment.
Rehabilitation Management
This program is for mid-managers, supervisors, and new or potential executive directors who are employed by VR-certified community rehabilitation programs or IL Centers. Courses include:
- Survival Management Skills for a Dynamic Environment
- Recruitment and Retention
- Building Organizations that Last
- Resource Development
- Leadership Simulation.
Special Topics
From time to time CRP-RCEP offers trainings on subjects that are relevant and useful to all CRP staff but do not fit in the above curriculums.
